Do you enjoy searching for a room in Zurich? Using platforms frozen since the 90s that charge you to send a message. The non-stop ghosting? The mess of emails? And searching for a roommate is no better.

When you finally find a place to live, you and your flatmates can pay 50,000CHF a year for worse customer service than you'd expect from a bad restaurant. You are not the customer.

I started Swift Living because I want to fix the situation. Starting with how we find rooms. We will make it far better for everyone involved.

After that we can fix the rest.

What is Swift Living?

Swift Living is the only platform where every housemate joins and processes applicants together.

It is fully focused on saving both room-searchers and roommate-searchers time and effort.

Because that's how it should be. Living is communal. So is our app. Finding rooms and roommates is exhausting. We aim to simplify it. The reason other platforms don't is because you are not the customer.

We make the process of applying less unpleasant.

• We show you where your applications are in the process so you don't feel like you are applying into a void.
• You apply with a profile which saves you time.
• We are working on making it clear where you have the best and worst chances. If you are the 150th application your chances are low. If someone in the flat is a friend of a friend your chances are high.

Will we charge you?

Swift Living will not charge you to apply to rooms or post rooms. Or for features on our platform that make it easier.

For now we intend to make the best rental platform and like all good tech companies make money later (from services we provide beyond room listings).

I'm Nick. I've worked as a software engineer in Zurich since 2018 and moved 5 times. Before that I was an international student in the Netherlands and lived in London. My CV for experiencing the unpleasant realities of moving is strong.
